As the last rays of daylight still colour the gardens, the flames of over 2,000 candles gradually light up the paths and reveal the boxwood patterns. Villandry invites you to take a stroll punctuated by entertainment, culminating in a fireworks display – the promise of a truly poetic evening.

On the programme for the 2026 edition:
- Giant wooden games in the château’s Cour d’honneur
- Guided tours of the gardens, with guides from the Château de Villandry
- ‘Les 4 saisons échassières’ (The Four Seasons on Stilts), and other surprises in the gardens… – street performances and short skits.
- ‘Celestial Blossom’: as night falls, near the water garden, the silhouette of a giant lotus flower gradually emerges, promising the Mille Feux audience a memorable experience…
- Fireworks display (10.30 pm)
