We would like to thank the owner for his warm welcome. Arriving exhausted, we left full of energy the next day. We had a wonderful evening at the restaurant with a delicious French meal, both generous and refined, served by attentive staff. We also had a perfect night's sleep, as the place was so peaceful and the bedding very comfortable (we even enjoyed the lovely jacuzzi!). What more can we say except that we wish absolutely nothing would change at this hotel and that we hope to return soon for a longer stay. Wonderful stay in a magical setting

On our way to Brittany, we had the pleasure of staying at the magnificent "Haut de Lys" hotel twice. Given our limitations, it was a stroke of luck to have found this gem in Villandry. My husband, who has a walking disability, had all the necessary amenities in his room, without any barriers, such as ample parking (right in front of the room, in the courtyard) and short walks. As we were traveling with two well-groomed Airedale Terriers, it was a great help that they were more than welcome! We slept very well (excellent beds – and a small detail: we love classic white sheets!) and appreciated the wonderful peace and quiet in the mornings. The house, a former monastery with an enchanting rose garden, has been lovingly restored and offers not only a magical atmosphere but also excellent breakfast and dinner. Special mention should be made of the warm welcome from "Gwenaelle" and the attentive and discreet care of the owner. Even on our second stay, we were welcomed like old friends! The ultimate delight at Haut des Lys

A magnificent experience just an hour from home. Relais du Silence truly lives up to its name. We had room 11 with a terrace and jacuzzi, and it was divine. The owners are incredibly kind and attentive. A former convent renovated with beautiful materials. Dinner, breakfast, massages, room, grounds, layout... nothing to complain about! Well, almost nothing: we will be back and will recommend it to our friends. What a joy to have experienced this escape here!

We stayed at Relais du Silence Le Haut des Lys for our engagement. We booked total of 3 rooms (one for us and one for each of our parents) which turned out to be an excellent choice.  There is a parking place near the hotel. The breakfast was very good and the rooms are gracious and lovely.  The Villandry Gardens and Chateau within walking distance, and there are also many beautiful villages around.  I would like to note that the hotel owner Mr.Mercier is very kind, very helpful and you can feel that he really cares about his guests and wants them to feel welcomed and comfortable. Overall experience was awesome. I recommend this hotel to every couple and family.
